In short
We collect as little as possible. Your reflections never leave your device. If you subscribe, Kit stores your email address so we can send you notes. You can unsubscribe, see your data, or have it deleted at any time by writing to kindness@everythingisapriority.com.

What we collect, and why
Your reflections
Nothing. Answers you type into the practice exist only in your browser's memory and disappear when you close or reload the page. They are never sent to us or anyone else.
Email address, if you subscribe
If you sign up for encouragement emails, we collect your email address and the rhythm you chose (daily, weekly or surprise). We use them only to send you those notes. You confirm by clicking a link in a confirmation email, and every email includes an unsubscribe link. Our legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Basic visit counts
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits. It doesn't use cookies and doesn't identify you. It records things like the page viewed, the referring site, and your country and device type, in aggregate. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding, at a basic level, whether the site is useful.
Google Analytics, only if you allow it
For visitors outside the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland, we offer Google Analytics, which sets cookies to help us understand how people find and use the site. It loads only if you choose "Accept" in the cookie notice. Google Analytics data is kept for 2 months. Visitors in the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland are never offered Google Analytics and no analytics cookies are set for them.
Emails you send us
If you write to us, we receive your message and email address so we can reply. We keep it only as long as needed to respond.
Who processes your information
- Vercel hosts the site and provides cookie-free visit counts.
- Kit (ConvertKit) stores subscriber email addresses and sends our emails.
- Google provides Google Analytics, only where offered and only with your consent.
- Forward Email routes messages sent to our address.
These providers are based in the United States. Where data protection law applies, they offer recognized safeguards for international transfers, such as standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
We don't sell or share personal information for advertising, and we don't use advertising pixels.
How long we keep it
- Subscriber email addresses: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
- Google Analytics data: 2 months.
- Visit counts: aggregate only, with no personal profile.
Your choices and rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- tell you what information we hold about you, and give you a copy
- correct it
- delete it
- stop sending you emails (the unsubscribe link does this instantly)
To make a request, email kindness@everythingisapriority.com with the subject "Privacy request" from the address you subscribed with. We'll reply within 30 days. If you're in the EU, EEA, UK or Switzerland, you also have the right to object to processing and to complain to your local data protection authority.
You can change your Google Analytics choice at any time with "Cookie settings" in the footer, where it's offered.
Children
This site isn't directed at children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
